Wonderfully Lost In Moments of Contentment
moonlight kiss on a moderate summer evening
rocking chair amazement as the waves crash
hot cinnamon roll panera vibe butter drenched
melting in my mouth merging with the sweetness of her warm kiss
gulls migrating dancing and smiling always hungry but still saying hello
worries are not in the dictionary of our oceanfront minds
the rhythm of the breeze slows our heart rates down to steady evenflow
smiling with delight praying to catch a falling star
maybe we can use it to light the lantern of our dream come true
holding her tight as she adjusts her throw to perfect comfort
the wonder of this moment here inspires time to cooperate
there is not a hint of movement to disturb the tranquility created
by the time we wake up the dawn is giggling at us
when the sun comes up we just laugh at ourselves
while stretching we agree to do it all over again
sunrise kiss on a cool summer morning
the dolphins and the porpoises teach the world to let go
as we watch the calm ocean and the fishing boats go by
our stomachs growl and baby shrimp omelets are on our brains
