Wonderful Day For a Picnic
The young woman’s loveliness permeated the forest.
She was lacy and soft, and a delight to their eyes.
Doe watched her from the thicket, marveling at her beauty.
The leaves were twittering with excitement.
It had been years since they saw a young human.
With such pretty hair and bright eyes.
The birds began tweeting their excitement.
A cough gave the deer’s hiding place away.
She is so lovely! The young woman thought as the doe left.
She admired her fluffy white tail and her jumping prowess.
Not realizing the doe had previously been admiring her beauty.
A wonderful day for a picnic in the forest.
