Women’s Of The Month March 1-31, 2026
Women's History Month had its origins as a national celebration in 1981 when Congress passed Pub. L. 97-28 which authorized and requested the President to proclaim the week beginning March 7, 1982 as “Women’s History Week.” Throughout the next five years, Congress continued to pass joint resolutions designating a week in March as “Women’s History Week.”
God highlights that a kindhearted woman gains honor (Proverbs 11:16).
A woman was created because it was "not good" for man to be alone, making her a necessary and God-ordained partner rather than inferior.
Jesus recognized a woman’s faith and healed her from 12 years of bleeding, and she testified publicly (Luke 8:42-48).
Jesus welcomed the sinful woman into a room full of men as she anointed His feet with perfume (Luke 7:36-50).
Jesus entrusted the most important message in all of history to Mary Magdalene and told her to go and tell the disciples He had risen from the dead (John 20:11-18).
