Women's Dream

Almost asleep, almost awake, she floats where walls melt like sugar in rain. Her breath becomes wind, her skin becomes sky, her heart becomes all the hearts that ever beat. In this soft place between yes and no, between here and there, she grows larger than any name they gave her. She dreams herself wide as the world, endless as morning, free as water finding its way home.
