Women In Iran

Women in Iran Women in Iran Let us think of a country older than old. It was called Persia, Iran, we were told. Once, it was so green with flowers and wine. Now, it’s filled with the filth; killing is their sign. They kill under the name of God and Islam. The people are tired; they can’t remain calm. Women burn their hijabs and make their souls free. It is hard not to see, who could disagree? The Islamic regime kills them without shame. There is no way fire extinction their flame. Those kids are mine and yours, hoping to be free. They want to see freedom as we all see. Do not turn your head on basic freedom. Liberty is a must; they fight for freedom. I am hoping to see this kinetic move, Bring them all the joy so life can improve. 10/11/2022 Haloo The painting is called "Emergence". It is acrylic on canvas. Note: The women of Iran are rising against the brutality of a regime that is depriving them of essential Liberty and basic freedom. This humble piece is written to honor them and give you the understanding that people are still dying under the name of God and religion.

Women are standing their ground, they are proud and brave individuals, knowing that they have probably been targeted, caught, imprisoned and lashed or beaten to death, such harsh wicked acts are being inflicted. Keep the candle burning my friend, the Western world hears and sees and certainly feels for you all. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Though cloak on the vestry of high alter they are broken by the true spirit of people. Being bound and shame make couragous the brave. You share this ongoing struggle in the most gripping way.

Your powerful poem and its accompanying beautiful artwork, reveal the sad plight of women denied basic rights. I pray that these dark days of religious oppression will soon end, and that women will gain the right to determine their own lives and destinies. Blessings, Evelyn

Every single word carries your feelings of respect to women as human beings worthy to be treated as such and not oppressed, dehumanised and killed in the name of "Islam"! I have been following what is happening in Iran to girls.. What happened lately is a shame and a huge stain to humanity.. killing a 20 year old girl for unveiling her hair! Girls if not killed they make them marry at a very young age! Girls are, in the 21 century denied the basic rights of a decent life! Many are fleeing to France with their families helped by associations there! I feel your wrath, Pashang and I feel your pride of belonging to such an ancient country, a fountainofcivilizations! I highly value such great poem to honour Women of Iran! You have raised your sword high and words of gold loud! May God bless Iran with peace and Women with power to regain their freedom.. My deepest regards and blessings.

Thank you Besma... Unfortunately, everything you mentioned is happening in Iran... I am hoping that this bloodshed stops as soon as possible and women achieve their goals.

Thanks for sharing from your heart, Pashang. I support all who seek freedom from oppression. Your poem is filled with hope for many, and my hope is that here in America we can stop those that are taking away our freedom because of greed and hate. Blessings to you, Bill

It has always been that way really. Take a custom and make it God's will, He who is compassionate and wants us to be free. Victor

So much is happening in our world today. I have heard or read how the women of that society are oppressed which is sad. I hope they can work it out in some kind of peaceful way. I enjoyed reading your work. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara

Heya Pashang, I’m delighted to see another poem here today about the corruption and absolute power men hold over women in Iran, of course all done under the guise and dark ages of a religion, I really hope the demonstrations are successful, but looking at the pictures of the goons that enforce these misogynist laws, does not fill me with much confidence, outstanding poem, cheers David

That was a terrible occurrence, Pashang; that country, like others that adhere to their doctrine, remains in the medieval era. No one has the authority to act as both a jury and a judge. Masha is a tremendous hero, and her death has touched something deep within all of us. That is her memory, and many women and men never forget her or this awful catastrophe, and may the required improvements be brought about.
