Women and Men

sometimes the one you love is like a rose
dainty without compare to troubled weeds
and every intimate kiss grows and grows

you tell yourself you have another chance
to mix your heart and feelings in a glass
with heart and soul you stir and share romance

even the bitter couples clap their hands
surprised to see perfection in a pair
as if a plane ascends and never lands

a rose sometimes can love someone like you
and we can crush its soul until it dries
I guess that's why roses are rotten too

[Let me explain the last tercet: a rose(man or woman) can love you, we can break
their heart or crush their soul, and the rose(he/her) can act rotten and cheat on
you! The poem "women and men" explain how complex relationships can be.
Some relationships can be great(and every intimate kiss grows and grows),
some are content with being bitter(even the bitter couples clap their hands),
while other relationships feed off revenge as explained in the last tercet.]
