Woman But Human
WOMAN BUT HUMAN
I stand tall,
Hope won’t fall,
I can fly,
One day will die,
I am strong,
But also wrong,
I am loud,
In a crowd,
I am free,
I choose to be,
Not in prison,
I’m a person,
I love honey,
More than money,
I fear poison,
Am I chosen?
Sometimes lucky,
Always plucky,
I may lose,
If I snooze,
Can be brave,
More I crave,
I’m no coward
I’m empowered,
I am lovely,
Always bubbly,
Am I ugly, said I’m not
Laugh a lot,
Do I Lie,
Rather cry,
Tell the truth,
Since my youth,
Am I lazy,
Sometimes crazy,
Am I old,
Getting there,
Lo and behold,
But with flair,
Sometimes silent,
Never violent,
Am I weak,
Hope not I’d freak,
Am I stupid,
Think I’m cupid,
You think so,
Perhaps that’s no,
What is my fate,
I have to wait,
Do I crawl,
Drive others up the wall,
Do I love, with all my might,
And strength and sheer delight,
My name is woman,
And only human!
