Strong, black woman
You come from a mighty land,
Your skin is made from God's pure earth,
Strong, black woman you're beautiful
You are made by a king
Walk like the champion you are,
You were crowned the Queen of the land
Back and strong and proud to be a woman .
You rise from the struggle
You grow from the pain
Strong, black woman
Head held high you are not afraid of the shackles.
