Wolves

If someone told me to vacuum the living room.
I might cry.
Even if it’s just the ghost who I like to talk to.
Helping in his ghostly way.
I might move to the woods.
Just the trees, and wolves.
Wolves are just people who wanted to retire, but are too young.
Blinking menacingly and it’s fun.
Howling in a bored way.
We stay away from human things.
The last chore I ever did…
Cleaning the sink, maybe…
Procrastination is-
Us howling all night long.
