Wolf's Prey

Snow... Its falling
I found a white wolf it was well fed
I went up to it all of the sudden I hear a gun shot
The crows are flying covering the bright blue sky
The wolf runs fast like a rabbit
A man wearing a black coat coming from the trees shadows comes to me
Every step he takes makes the snow gray
The crows are flying in circles making the man look like a raven
He keeps on walking getting closer , closer , and closer to me
He pulls out a sharp dagger stabs me in the chest
Blood spills to the ground I fall to the ground in pain screaming in fear as the crows
Starts to Peking on my flesh I can no longer see the Art of the blue sky
All I see is shadows
I thought to me self " Is this how my destiny ends?"
Suddenly I hear howling something jumped I don't know what
I hear growling the crows are starting to fade away the sunlight is rising I passed out
The next I woke up I see the white wolf it saved my life

Sorry, I see you can't receive soup mail. I was going to suggest that you might want to change your title as to not give away your climatic ending. Welcome to Poetry Soup. Cheers, Connie

Sounds like a bad dream but you were saved in the end. Enigmatic and deeply dark. Well written. Soup mail
