Woebegone

The clouds rain blood.
The heavens feel my pain.
The angels in discomfort.
Prophets descend from their heavenly
seat, to unveil knowledge of life in my dreams.
Moses part my ocean of tears and finds my heart.
He leads me to the land of healing words and the
calming sound of the lord songs.
The seal of david bestowed on my mortal
heart beat. Jesus turns my blood into bliss.
Ill never drown in tears again.

Elliott, I'm so glad you found a way to dispel the pain you were feeling. Readingyour poem, I could actually picture Moses parting the "ocean of tears" for you. Then all you had to do was step into the light. Excellent poem! Best wishes, Carolyn

Indeed, as only he can. The only way from woe is down such a path. Well written, and very inspirational Mr. Elliott.
