Wizard the Break In

I was awake, but laid there on my pillow. The silence was so loud it muffled me. Fear draped me in the house where I dwell. The anguish, I just couldn’t deny. I heard a strange sound coming from my kitchen, Feet were slipping on the wet floor. I also heard the sound of the trap made of old foil, I thought, “Just stand on the edge!” Then, there was a very long pause… draped/ slipping/ pause/ edge/ muffled/ foil/ wake/ deny/ dwell/ pillow
