Wizard of Sleep

Head pillow
Slipping under me
Giving pause
From the edge
Brink of reality’s wake
Muffled sound of sleep

Entrant into Andrea Dietrich's "WORD WIZARDS' CHALLENGE" contest

Russell, I don't think I've read a Shadorma before and you wrote yours so beautifully. The transition from consciousness to sleep is conveyed so creatively. Andrea's going to love this one as much as I do. Wishing you success! Love, Carolyn
