Notes About The Poem

scared by oz

Listen to poem:

Wizard of Oz - So Scary

As a child I became frightened and froze,
When I watched where yellow brick road goes.
For the witch in the sky,
Made me quiver and cry,
"Turn it off! I can’t stand her crows!"

So many people I've talked to said the movie scared the hell out of them as a kid. The monkeys always scared me (lol) Great limerick, John. Congratulations on your winning placement in my contest. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Charlie

Thanks, It was the scariest movie I ever saw as a child. I can remember kneeling in my chair facing the back wall with eyes close and hands covering my ears!
