Witnessing Road Kill

Walking down sidewalk
Watching cars pass by and by
Looks from side to side

In dismay looks down
Now hating every roadster 
Death smears on one tire

A gross image about the smeared tire ... but of course road kill is never pretty. Did you actually see this happen or just imagination? Something like that would stick (no pun intended) with you for a long time. Interesting poem.
