Without You

Allow me but a moment within your loving embrace
I wish to provide you, now, with my beating heart
It beats for you, darling, see love there in my face
As the passion contained surely can never depart

Feel it, hear it, sense its beating so very strong
It would stop, lose life, should you ever let go
Hold on my sweet, as within your arms I belong
It was written in the stars so very long ago

I’d die if there was never a moment with you
This I say because I know it to be true
