Without You

Time they say 
will ease the pain
your heart will heal
as you live again

I don't believe
I can honestly say
I can be who I was
before that horrible day

Life was cruel
on that September day
when death was certain
as it took you away

A mothers love
there is nothing as strong
I still can't understand
what went so wrong
