Without You.....

I can't live without you 
It's your love,that makes me breathe 
it's your love that keeps my heart beating 
what is life without you my love 

My dreams would be lost 
like a bridge taken away by a storm. 
if you were not in my life 
my life wouldn't be the same 

I would look at the stars 
without cherishing the 
way they light up the sky. 

I would pass a beautiful garden in bloom 
without noticing it's beauty. 
I would no longer look forward 
to each sunset 
I would only think 
about the day that we met 

I would be broken, 
never to be mended again 
darkness would own my heart; 

because I could not smile 
without your love 
I would not know laughter 
or happiness 

You are my answered prayer, 
my shelter from 
hopelessness and despair, 

my sunshine, my light, 
my peacefulness at night 

and only you my love can keep the 
spark in my soul burning bright
