Without You

I searched for you again,
but your never there when I am.
I saw you again;
why can't I meet your gaze?
I understand you hate me, or maybe you forgot,
but I go out of my way everyday to steal a glimpse of you.
Today they asked me, "what's wrong", they told me I looked sad,
but I can't seem to tell them that I've gone crazy, just over the thought of you.
I know I'm a regret, wasted days, weeks, months.
There's no closure in this pain, I'll never be with you again.
It was great, then it was gone.
So abrupt, I cannot cope.
I love you, but you'll never know.
Sweet dreams my love, sleep tight,
I'm left to pine another night.
