Without the Smallest Hint

Yes.
No.
Maybe so.
I don't really, honestly know.
I try and try.
Oh, and try some more.
Even though I gain no ground.
Just as before.
How can I do it?
How can I show?
I know I'm worth it.
I know that it will grow.
I watch you go,
Almost every day,
Without the smallest hint,
Or even a clue.
Yes?
No?
Maybe so?
You don't really, honestly know?
