Without Johnny

Without Johnny

My heart grows cold
As I sit here alone,
No one to hold
Or to call my own.

Fake smiles flash on my face
With quiet forced laughter
To keep all the questions
From appearing in conversation.

Every look in a mirror reminds me
Of why I lost him,
I'm not perfect
I'm not beautiful
I'm just a someone
Who can't have his love.
