Without God's Love, I Would Be Nothing
Oh, without God's love, I would be nothing.
I would be forever drowning into a sea of
deepest and darkest despair.
Drowning into the bottomless sea,
of loathing and self pity.
I would join the party of the
forever lost and everlasting dammed.
I would being feeling dejected as I
could possibly be.
When I was younger, I was told
I would never amount to anything
at all. I believed the lies because
I was far being wise even in my own eyes.
Alas! I would still being wearing a disguise of
the real me. Lost forever in a world
of fantasy. God firmly holds the key
to my everlasting destiny.
Everlasting life his free salvation's gift
he has forever promised me.
Satan held me firmly bound by the sins,
of stress anxiety, mental illness
and depression.
In the not too distant pass, he almost won.
Praise be to God he rescued me!
Oh, without God's redeeming
love I would be nothing at all.
Love in Christ Jesus!
