Within Those Skies- Collaboration
memories linger
as i exalt all admiration;
there is something about that sky
that lures me in
the way it blushes
long before the mountain drips
blood-red from an emerging sun
that magnetic fascination
just provokes intoxication
then leaves me yearning for more
yet it's the night sky
where nature is unparalleled
beneath that ebony backdrop
the glow of a million stars
glimmer all around the milky splash
that looks like heaven's opening
it stirs emotions supernal
leaving me feeling deeply compelled
to wish upon the crimson flashes
that trail through the edges of black
