Within Our Dreams

Rest your eyes my gentle sunshine love
as evening shadows slowly disappear,
     and let the moon’s soft silvery summer beams
surround the moments of your slumber and
     caress the magic silence of your dreams.

For in your dreams a hidden truth resides 
as slumber wears the weary night away;
     and covered by the beams of silvery glow,
your dreams will always drift and carry you 
     to places where imaginations flow.

And when the early blush of dawn appears
to chase the fading shadows from your sleep,
     I’ll greet the morning softly by your side
and hold the silent moments of your dreams
     as blooming hearts and warming sun collide.
