Within My Heart There Was Always Light
As we held on to what was right
Kept ours hearts of confession to God
As we are within his squad
Always knew to honor
Thank you Father
Without any pressure
Jesus love we do treasure
Made each other laugh
He built such sturdy crafts
As a true friend he never gave up
In return we drank of his cup
Offered life everlasting
Through prayers and fasting
Gave the Lord thanks
As we drank
Consumed by the beauty
He has given us this duty
Appreciate all that surrounds
Especially all that comes from the ground
Showed our respect
His love resurrects
As white as snow
His truth does show
