Within My Deepest Fears

I wanted freedom But Life said you can only have Mental Slavery I wanted to change But Life said for how long? I wanted to run But Life said How Far? I've already paid for my future sins I seek no actual Revelation Gratitude, Tranquility Have left my solemn mind I rise above my misfortunes How sarcastic it may sound How oblivious it may look The dismal tenacity of hope I seek no condemnation I seek only authenticity Unravelled, Shrivelled I Trembled, Staggered I see no darkness I exceed my expectations My fears are held from within Within my deepest fears A conversation like mine That has no meaning......
