Within Me You Are
With a heart full of yearning, a beacon of hope,
Galloping through the tapestry of time,
Over dales and peaks, beneath the azure cope,
Scouring the breadth of the earth, so prime.
Bound within the core of my being, thou art,
Lost, now wandering in the realm of thought,
For I have traversed beyond my own heart,
In the quest for the essence, I have sought.
As Keats might muse upon a Grecian urn,
I ponder the silent form I yearn to find,
Through the whispers of the wind, I discern,
Your echoes, in the caverns of my mind.
