Paula Swanson Poet Rhyme

Within

Stand within the wings of a butterfly
and dare to touch the sun.
Peer deeply at a simple raindrop,
to hear mighty rivers run.
Hold ancient worlds on your fingertip,
within a single grain of sand.
Step into sun cast, prism colors,
to race a rainbows span.
See the fabric of time and space combine
in a delicate spider's web.
Within the drop of blood from a thorn,
feel the pull of life as it ebbs.
