Within

You kiss me, I fall,
one look and I melt
into all I know
I should not want, but
I forever do

and it is not
chance, destiny,
stars aligning,
or circumstance

but all the
pieces of
a life now

falling
into

place

and though
you doubt

and sometimes
I wonder
if you feel

what I feel; do
you recognize
that the forces
that pulled me here

tug on you too, and
do you feel the strength
of the tide that calls
to you, and whispers:
“You have found your home”
