Heidi Sands Poet Sonnet

With You I Confide

Rays of warm sunshine spread a blanket through
Colorful leaves that are waving goodbye
In the nip of cold air that says its true
Still playfully bouncing under blue sky

Trees give into winter’s arrival soon
But through bare branches, new scenes will emerge
Bringing beauty and warmth with a new tune
Shadows will dance on white tops of snow surge

As I dance with you, in sunshine of fall
To a melody of seasonal grace
I truly do listen and hear the call
As I watch this creation change its face

Step by step, across the new stage outside
All the while knowing, with you I confide
