With the Old Breed

What I would give to sit and smile again
Together with the old breed and a beer to expend
We would tell our stories and have a good laugh
As the night hours continued with each round of draught

Those days are now gone in the blink of an eye
And it seems as old warriors the years just fly
So I’ll close my eyes and the years melt away
What would I give now to stay forever in yesterday.

great phrasing, Paul, you've depicted the "good old days" in a fresh new light.
