With the Feet of Mercury

sunlight calling
I fly along a path
through parks and trees
nature’s song in a breeze
footsteps light
I’m buoyed by dreams
stippled waters
gentle waking
early reflections
of a tranquil stream
morning’s call
conversations with spirits rise
beyond mere flesh and bones
