With Pastels In Hand

With pastels in hand,
I paint the life of the sea...
in sunny Capri.

Giant Cyclops settled here,
and fishermen still fear them...
legends become real.

Mermaids sing with lyre,
luring them in your cold deep...
as images appear.

Oh, the stories in Capri. How nice to know these, Andrew and see them painted by your poetic pen. Thanks for making me aware of my featured poem. It's one of the very few Terzanelle I ever tried to write. They are quite difficult to do and I appreciate your comments on September.
