With Me Always

The world presses down upon my weary soul
To assume control
I realize i could never do salvation all alone
I need him so desperately
To take it all from me
To finally be set free
Not just from the world
But especially from me
For left to my own devices
I could so easily surrender to so many vices
But his Spirit whispers in my ear
As i give my heart to him
I feel him draw near
And in spite of my failures
I have no fear
For he is with me
To purify my heart
And from his presence
I will never depart.
