With Joy of His Life

I cried only once to shed
Few holy tears.
But, those tears
Evaporated and fled
As the spirit of my love.

But, my lover didn’t show
Mercy upon me
To come and live in my heart
In spite of my many prayers,
But he took me away
Into his heart.

Now I live in his home,
Without life
Without strife
Without strain
Without pain
Without death
And only with the breath
Of his spirit,
And with joy of his life.
