With Hesitation

It was with unease I entered in and opened up the door I found such a hearty welcome that I could not ask for more. This little forum I have found is an accepting place. I could come from any venue, I could spring from any race. With timidity I posted a short poem I had written Without a thought that anyone would be especially smitten. My email started clicking with kind comments my poem And now for years I’ve nestled in my Poetry Soup home. It’s a little haven, where we claim no one to be inferior. There’s not a hint from anyone, she thinks herself superior. Or it could be that’s she’s a he, in here we all are equal. But that’s another story, I’ll just have to write a sequel.
