With Eyes Like That

With eyes like that you don't have to speak
With eyes like that you don't have to lie
They say that the eyes reflect the soul inside
But your eyes show no soul
Cold eyes have no glow

With a heart so twisted and beat you don't have to cry
With a heart so cruel you can't be no ones fool
Though you think your shield protects, it only deflects

The trouble I've got is that I can see behind your eyes
The trouble I've got is that I can past all the lies
I can see the stone inside, the real meaning of you

I don't have to break you shield
The traits you have to me can not be concealed
Your eyes demand I yield

But you win your little games
For I can not break the chain

For what you hate in me?
It's shocking now I see
The person here is me
But that never meant anything to thee

For what you hate in me?
You know all too well indeed

For what you hate in me?
When you look into my eyes, when you look behind the lies

Your reflection is what you see.
