With Conviction

My emotions overthrow me.
No matter how much anger,
Hatred, disdain
Or out right disregard
I might feel for another's soul.
For humanity in general.
Somehow, somewhere
I still find empathy and prayer.
It is through my convictions
That I able to remain sane.
