With all My Heart
The presence of your love cracks open the cage;
the warmth of your heart melts that inner ice age.
Your steadfast love brings me out of that trance;
I feel my heart beat, my soul starts to dance.
Your beauty blazes forth before my eyes,
within and without, you light up the skies!
In loving humility I take your hand,
and dance forth in love, across the starry band.
Across the skies we fly, no distance too great,
life leads us forth, we mustn't hesitate.
God will sustain us, and show us the way;
night has ended – we have only bright day.
God leads us forward, embracing we will go,
for there'll be no other ending, that we do know.
