With a Lifetime of Thanks

My words all stem from a happy thought. I’ve received a present from someone who has given me a gift that touched my heart, but who it is didn’t give me a single clue. Such a gracious gesture from a kindred soul is from a poet who has the vision to see that he/she played a generous donor’s roll by granting a lifetime membership to me. Whoever you are, my dear anonymous friend, this note of thanks to you, I gratefully send.

Delighted for you, Lin, you deserve this love:) I too have received such anonymous gifts (3 times, wow!) just at the time when I was thinking about leaving PS... And then, I had to stay, and I am glad I did:)

Hi Tania, and yes it was a wonderful gift that I've been given. "Loved by many" is a nice thought. I hold the friends I've made in the soup with much respect for the consideration they've shown me and my poetry over the span of eight years. You, as high as any among them.

oh Lin, what a fabulous thing to happen I bet it made your day. There are some lovely generous people on the site and someone obviously thinks a great deal of your work! I can relate so much to your poem as I was gifted my first PM totally anonymously only after about a month of joining soup, and as a total novice to writing all I wanted to do was make that person proud of me and try and learn as much as I could.
