Wishing You Never Left

You were my dearest love,
My shelter.
You were everything to me,
And then you were taken away.
God took you away from me.
I held you in my arms,
Streams of tears pour down my face.
How could this happen?
How could I leave you?
You lie there,
Lifeless.
Cold.
I wish you never left,
I wish I could bring you back,
That I could heal you.
It's too late.
After your fall,
And the blood spread,
Now you cannot come back,
You cannot come back to me...
