"wishing Well"

Today I sit dream out loud....
Making wishes that are not found..
I'm drawing blanks from this wishing well...
Small coins tossed in but nothing to tell...
Maybe less then nine lives used...
Might be tattered but barely bruised...
This wishing well has not been kind...
Two wishes left and still no sign...
Tomorrow I wake and see my way...
Dreamed of purple sky's and glimmered rays...
Velvet walkways that lead to a colorful field...
Where spring is forever and love is for real...
My pillow turned as I tumble and wake to a bell....
And out side my window there sits the wishing well...

So often we toss those coins and make wishes, Michael. Perhaps you will still find that colorful field. These words seem to come for your heart and I'm wishing you everything you wish for yourself. Love, Carolyn
