Wishing To Witness??
wishing to witness
Wishing to witness change.
When the poor is destined for more
And sunlight shines through the rains pour.
Wishing to witness a cure.
A cure for aids and other plagues
that cascade souls and hearts tearing loved ones apart.
Wishing to witness sincerity.
When politicians don’t potently piss,
Marking their places
On people’s lives and faces,
Covering all scents of bliss.
Wishing to witness equality.
A day when we recognize,
That we all bleed the same blood
And the irrelevance of another’s skin color.
Wishing to witness life.
When vultures don’t peek behind clouds
With proud smiles knowing the future of men, women, and child.
Wishing to witness acceptance.
A day when hate inspired guns drop
And holy wars & religion debates stop.
Wishing to witness better actions.
When we realize that behavior could be our savior
And we strip the traditional shackles from our mind.
Wishing to witness time.
What are you wishing to witness?
