Wishful Warning

Cast your wishes upon the wind into a great vast empty sky Surrender desire to an unknown fate Pray kindness is your friend and the devil has another date Beware of nature's trickery Remember there is no guarantee Those wishes have been set free Will they fall in a rainbow shower landing on the petals of a flower Returning the sweetest perfume Or be caught unaware In a witches broom To become your darkest nightmare We cannot see Will it be gloom or glee? Those wishes have been set free
