Wishful Thinking

Wishful thinking

Wishful thinking, the realities of your mind,
Like the sight of a man, that is truly blind.
It’s a beastly lion, in the shadow of a cat,
Like the rise of a balloon, that has gone flat.

Wishful thinking, unsolved problems with a clue,
Imagination in motion, from a faded point of view.
Desires of the heart, with impossible dreams,
Like a ride across the sky, on a Bald Eagles wings.

Very nice. well written. And then there is the imagination of imagination, but that is a bit post-modern.
