Wishes

i got plenty wishes
though they say wishes never come true
i hold on to mine
because they make me sleep
i wish for a night without nightmares
without so much struggle
i wish to wake up one morning in peace
i thought about love today
and all i could reminisce upon was her
although she hurt me about thousand times
i feel weak in my knees to stand and walk away
i wish i could get up out the house
but something tells me that it's all good
because she broke down in tears and asked me to stay
