Wishes

If I could hold you in my arms Just one last time To hear your voice As you say I love you So I could make you smile But now I can’t it’s too late I wish I could say anything to you But you just walk past As though I don’t exist Like there was never anything between us I guess it’s her job now I’ll just smile and hide Push away the hurt and pain Because maybe I’ll make it through
