Wishes

'Wishes'

I wish upon a star, 
that I would forever be by your side, 
through sorrow and joy, pain and relief. 

I wish upon the Sun, 
to always light my way, 
to illuminate the path forward, 
to never let darkness have full reign of my life. 

I wish upon the Moon, 
to be my guiding light in the darkness, 
and never let my faith falter. 

I wish upon the god who will listen to me, 
to protect the ones I care for,  
the ones that make this life of mine worth living, 
whenever I can’t be there for them. 

I wish upon my Soul, heart and life, 
that if you are still in this world of mine, 
we will cross paths again.
