Wishes

I think of this past years sorrow
This world can't take much more
I'd wish for a gentler tomorrow 
One that's softer than before

A wish for a life of contentment 
An equal amount of joy and pain
A world with a lot less resentment 
An even amount of sun and rain

We need a better understanding
For all cultures,religions,and races
All others to stop the demanding
All are different,in different places

4th place 
So no wishes for world peace
None for wealth or true love
Just take away some unease
That'd be my wish from above
