Wish You Were Here

wishing you were here
through the years
inevitable silence
the screams
of tomorrow
swallowing the pain
of yesterday
being present
in your fears
the never ending storms
traveling lighter
and lighter
as we float on to a never
evermore
just within our sights
finding comfort
souls of the archives
rush in an unpleasant
breeze
dawn the masks of time
find peace in the fragments
of your mind
letting all who know
follow
twist and turn
dive and jump
we swim through this
storm
shocking
so close to you
but just out of reach
wishing you were here
